Zusammenfassung
Die kieferorthopädische Behandlung von Patienten mit Zahnaplasien im
Unterkieferseitenzahnbereich in Kombination mit einer progenen Tendenz stellt
eine große Herausforderung dar. Der vorliegende Fall zeigt, dass eine
strukturierte Analyse und Auswertung der Befunde in Kombination mit einem guten
Verankerungsmanagement die Grenzen der modernen Kieferorthopädie erweitern und
sowohl eine dentale Kompensation als auch ein erfolgreicher Lückenschluss im
Seitenzahngebiet gleichzeitig angegangen werden können.
Abstract
The orthodontic treatment of patients with dental aplasia in the mandibular
posterior region in combination with a progenic tendency represents a major
challenge. The present case portrays that a structured analysis and evaluation
of the findings in combination with good anchorage management are able to push
the limits of modern orthodontics by achieving a successful gap closure in the
posterior region and a simultaneously dental compensation of the skeletal
discrepancy.
