ZUSAMMENFASSUNG
Die Internationale Klassifikation orofazialer Schmerzen (ICOP) wurde interdisziplinär erarbeitet und strebt an, eine der internationalen Kopfschmerzklassifikation (ICHD-3) vergleichbare Systematik der Mund- und Gesichtsschmerzen zu etablieren, die im klinischen Alltag und für wissenschaftliche Fragestellungen gleichermaßen praktikabel anwendbar sein soll. Ziel ist die Verbesserung und Vereinheitlichung klinischer Diagnostik und Therapie. Die Klassifikation liegt in deutschsprachiger Übersetzung vor.
ABSTRACT
The International Classification of orofacial Pain (ICOP) is a result of an interdisciplinary approach to establish a systematic of oral and facial pain syndromes comparable to the International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD-3). The classification is proposed for easy use in clinical practice and for research to improve diagnostic and therapy. A German translation of the classification is available.
