Regelmäßig werden verletzte Wildvögel aufgefunden, die eine umgehende medizinische Versorgung benötigen. Da sie den Umgang mit Menschen nicht gewohnt sind, erfordert es ein hohes Maß an umsichtigem Handling. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über klinische Untersuchung und Erstversorgung dieser Patienten mit besonderem Augenmerk auf traumatisierte Wildvögel.
