Der interessante Fall
Recurrent exposure of Preserflo Microshunt implant

Preserflo Microshunt is a novel trans-scleral device able to shunt aqueous humor from the anterior chamber to a filtering bleb under Tenon´s capsule and conjunctiva. Although commonly results a safe and effective technique for lowering IOP in patients with open-angle glaucoma, it is not exempt from transient complications. A careful individually selection of the patients and risk factors results important before planning the surgery in order to manage postoperative ocular surface complications.
