Verletzungen bei ankylosierenden Erkrankungen der Wirbelsäule
Injuries in Ankylosing Diseases of the SpinePatient*innen, die an einer fokalen oder globalen Ankylosierung der Wirbelsäule leiden, erfordern im Falle eines spinalen Traumas die höchste Aufmerksamkeit aller Beteiligten. Die durch die Grunderkrankung bedingte veränderte Biomechanik führt dazu, dass i. d. R. hochinstabile Verletzungen vorliegen, neurologische Defizite häufiger vorkommen und die operative Versorgung meist schwieriger ist als im Fall einer physiologischen Wirbelsäule. Wir beleuchten die wesentlichsten Grunderkrankungen, die zu einer Ankylosierung führen und die zu beachtenden Fallstricke sowie häufige Komplikationen.
