The Interesting Case
Two rare vascular findings in one patient: Retro-psoas Iliac Artery & Common Pulmonary Venous Confluence
Article in several languages: English | deutschIntroduction
A 44-year-old male presented to the emergency department with left-sided lower abdominal pain and shortness of breath. A thoracoabdominal CT was performed to evaluate the abdominal symptoms and rule out pulmonary embolism. An uncomplicated sigmoid diverticulitis was diagnosed. Remarkably, two rare vascular incidental findings were identified at CT imaging.
