Introduction

Ewing sarcoma is a rare and aggressive malignant tumor primarily affecting children and young adults. Characterized by its unique genetic translocation involving the EWSR1 gene, it commonly presents with nonspecific symptoms such as localized pain, which can often mimic other conditions. Imaging studies, including MRI and PET/CT, play a crucial role in diagnosing and assessing the extent of the disease. This case report highlights a very rare instance of Ewing sarcoma involving the lumbar spine, emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive diagnostic approach and multidisciplinary management in optimizing patient outcomes.
