Abstract

Three children are described with a combination of coarctation of aorta and a bleeding intracranial aneurysm. Each one presented a different, immediate and/or long term problem. From the lessons learned from these cases, against the background of a personal series of 50 “juvenile” bleeding aneurysms, and a review of the literature, we suggest a deliberate surgical policy, being in our opinion, the only logical therapeutic sequence.
