Abstract

Duck gut GLI was incubated a) alone and b) with the lipolytically active duck pancreatic GLI and the intestinal factors peak 2 and 3, and the glycerol released from duck adipocytes measured. Intestinal GLI was non-lipolytic, but not inert: it reduced the lipolysis induced by pancreatic GLI and peak 2.
