Gonadotropin-Releasingfaktoren (GRF) im menschlichen Hypophysenvorderlappen, Hypophysenhinterlappen und im Plasma

Abstract

In human anterior pituitary lobes FSH-RF activity as well as LH-RF activity could be demonstrated following extraction and purification by Sephadex G 25. The activity could not be detected in the posterior pituitary lobes. The GRF activity was also demonstrated by bioassay in the human peripheral plasma. During Sephadex chromatography the extract from plasma behaved otherwise than that from anterior pituitary and pituitary stalk. FSH-RF and LH-RF activity were found in the same fractions. In Plasma, this activity wandered with the α and β-globulin-fraktion.

Zusammenfassung

Im menschlichen Hypophysenvorderlappen war sowohl FSH-RF- als auch LH-RF-Aktivität nach Extraktion und Reinigung an Sephadex G-25 nachweisbar. Im Hypophysenhinterlappen war die entsprechende Aktivität nicht zu finden. Auch im peripheren Blut des Menschen ließ sich GRF-Aktivität mit Hilfe der biologischen Testverfahren nachweisen. Im Sephadex-Chromatogramm verhielt sich der Extrakt aus Plasma jedoch anders als der aus Hypophysenvorderlappen bzw. Hypophysenstiel. FSH und LH-RF-Aktivität fand sich in den gleichen Fraktionen. Im Plasma wandert diese Aktivität mit der α und β-Globulin-Fraktion.
