Zusammenfassung
Es wird berichtet über die Ventrikulographie mittels eines Katheters, der durch ein
frontales Bohrloch bis in den 3. Ventrikel vorgeschoben wird, so daß in Bauchlage
mit geringer Luftmenge die medialen Hirnkammern dargestellt werden können. Bei einiger
Erfahrung kann man damit rechnen, daß bei entsprechender Richtung des Stichkanals
die Plazierung der Katheterspitze im 3. Ventrikel in weit über 3 /4 der Fälle gelingt.
Summary
A method is described of performing ventriculography by means of a catheter passed
through a frontal burr hole into the third ventricle. By placing the patient prone
it is possible to demonstrate the midline ventricular cavities with a very small amount
of air. With some experience and by appropriately directing the puncture the tip of
the catheter can be successfully placed in the third ventricle in well over three-quarters
of the cases.

Description d'une ventriculographie réalisée à l'aide d'une sonde introduite dans
le 3éme ventricule par un trou de trépan frontal. En position ventrale il suffit d'une
quantité d'air minime pour mettre en évidence le système ventriculaire médian. Avec
un peu d'expérience et sous réserve du choix d'une bonne direction, la pointe de la
sonde peut être placée dans le 3ème ventricule dans plus de 3 /4 des cas.
Resumen
Se informa sobre la ventriculografía mediante un catéter que se introduce por un agujero
de trepanación frontal en el 3.° ventrículo, de forma que en posición prona con pequeñas
cantidades de aire se puede poner de manifiesto el sistema ventricular medial. Con
alguna experiencia y siguiendo la dirección apropiada, el enplazamiento de la punta
del catéter en el 3.° ventrículo se consigue en más de 75% de los casos.
