Eine einfache Methode der Trikuspidalanuloplastik*

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über eine neue Methode der Trikuspidalanuloplastik berichtet. Bei dieser Methode wird der antero-posteriore Anteil des Trikuspidalringes mit Hilfe von U-Nähten an einen halbkreisförmigen Streifen aus festem Teflon genäht. Da der Radius des Streifens kleiner ist als der des Trikuspidalringes, wird eine gleichmäßige Einengung des dilatierten Ringes erzielt, nachdem die Nähte geknüpft sind. Wegen ihrer Einfachheit, Festigkeit und Beibehaltung der Elastizität des Klappenringes scheint diese Methode gegenüber ähnlichen Plastiken vorteilhaft zu sein. Die Ergebnisse bei 5 Patienten sind sehr gut. Diese Methode kann auch zur Raffung der Mitralklappe verwendet werden.

Summary

A new operative method for tricuspid annuloplasty is reported. In this method the antero-posterior portion of the tricuspid annulus is sutured to a semicircular nonelastic strip of teflon by double needle sutures. Since the radius of this strip is shorter than the radius of the valve ring, the tricuspid annulus will be narrowed after the sutures are tied. Because of its simplicity, firmness and maintenance of the valvular ring elasticity, this method seems to be advantageous to all similar procedures. The results of the method in 5 patients with severe tricuspid incompetence have been excellent. This method can also be used for annuloplasty of the mitral valve.
