Abstract

The difference in the stereo chemical course of the metal hydride reduction of 3–acetyl–1–,4,6,7,12,12b–hexahydroindolo[2,3–a]quinolizine 1 and 1–acetyl–3,4,6,7,12,12b–hexahydroindolo[2,3–a] quinolizine 4 is described.
