Abstract

Daphnetin–8–β-glucoside, β-sitosterol and sucrose have been obtained from the above ground parts of Daphne acuminata. Besides these, two substituted dihydroxycoumarins and two cardiotoxic phenolic compounds have been isolated. Work on the identification of these compounds is in progress.
