Abstract

The Authors have studied the seeds of various kinds ofP's orale a for evaluating the furocoumarin derivatives present from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. Only psoralen and angelicin have been found in the examined seeds.

The skin-photosensitizing activity of some coumarinic extracts has shown a correlation between the amount of psoralen and the extent of erythema produced.
