Abstract
The oligomer procyanidins of Crataegus (hawthorn), which are popularly used in form of extracts in medicine was labelled with [14C] by an in-vivo method. The [14C] acetate was incorporated into the procyanidins with a quote of 2 % by young intact plants during 10 days. The [14C] radioactivity was localized specifically in the ring A of the molecule.
