Abstract
Chemical investigation of the petroleum ether extract of Euphorbia in die a resulted in the isolation and identification of taraxerol, a hydrocarbon fraction (C29H60,C31H64), an alcohol fraction (octacosanol and other homologes) and a sterol fraction (β–sitosterol, stigmasterol and campesterol).
