Abstract

The seeds of Bombax malabaricum contain n-bexacosanol, palmitic acid, octyl palmitate, gallic acid, tannic acid, 1–galloyl-β-glucose, ethyl gallate, tocopherols, carotenoid(s) and an unidentified terpene.
