Abstract
Antirrhinum maju s L. has been found to produce healthy, viable callus tissue, the most reproducible starting material for callus initiation was found to be seedling radicle. This callus readily fragmented and formed homogenous suspension cultures. Static and suspension cultures have been found to produce Dragendorff positive substances differing from those in the parent plant; choline synthesis was found to occur in cultured tissue.
