The volatile oils of stemcallus –, rootcallus – and root organ cultures of Ruta graveolens L. were investigated by gas-chromatography and mass-spectrometry. As result of this investigation the following components could be identified: 2 – nonanol, 2 – undecanol, 2 – nonanone, 2 – undecanone, 2 – decanone, 2 – nonylacetate, 2 – undecylacetate, 2 – undecyl – 2 – methylbutyrate, 2 – undecyl – 3 – methylbutyrate, pregeijerene, isogeijerene and geijerene.
It could be shown, that there is a correlation between the oil components produced in the callus tissues and the organs from which the callus has been isolated.
For the first time it was found, that the root oil of Ruta graveolens contains, besides geijerene, the terpenoids myrcene and elemol as well as the hydrocarbon pregeijerene.
Zusammenfassung
Die ätherischen Öle der Stengelcallus – Wurzelcallus – und Wurzelorgankulturen wurden gaschromatograpbiscb und massenspektrometrisch untersucht. Insgesamt konnten folgende Komponenten nachgewiesen werden: 2 – Nonanol, 2 – Undecanol, 2 – Nonanon, 2 – Undecanon, 2 – Decanon, 2 – Nonylacetat, 2 – Undecylacetat, 2 – Undecyl – 2 – methylbutyrat, 2 – Undecyl – 3 – methylbutyrat, Prägeijeren, Isogeijeren und Geijeren. Es war eine Korrelation zwischen den im Callus und den in den entsprechenden Pflanzenorganen gebildeten Ölkomponenten nachweisbar.
Im Wurzelöl von Ruta graveolens konnten neben Geijeren erstmals die Terpene Myrcen und Elemol, sowie das Terpenoid Prägeijeren identifiziert werden.
