Abstract

The essential oil from fresh roots of Pastinaca sativa L., which were collected at several places in W.Germany, was qualitatively and quantitatively determined by GLC and spetroscopic methods. Terpinolene and Myristicine were identified as main components (together 80 to 88 %) beside minor amounts of other mono– and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons. The composition of the essential oils from different places didn't show any qualitative and relatively small quantitative differences.

Zusammenfassung

Das ätherische Öl frischer Wurzeln von Pastinaca sativa L. mehrerer Standorte in der BRD wurde mittels GC in Verbindung mit spektroskopischen Methoden qualitativ und quantitativ untersucht. Als Hauptkomponenten wurden Terpinolen und Myristicin mit zusammen 80–88 % identifiziert. Daneben konnten geringe Mengen verschiedener Mono– und Sesquiterpen–Kohlenwasserstoffe nachgewiesen werden. Die Ölzusammensetzung von Wildpflanzen verschiedener Standorte wies keine qualitativen und verhältnismäßig geringe quantitative Unterschiede auf.
