Abstract

1. The highest contents of alkaloids of harman were ascertained in the leaves of Passiflora edulis (0,12 mg %) and in the stalks of Zygophyllum fabago (0,45 mg %).

2. In connexion with obtaining the refreshing drinks from fruits of Passiflora edulis it seems to be useful to utilize the leaves and peels of fruits as source of harman alkaloids for the pharmaceutical preparations with definite pharmacological efficacity.
