Summary

Duodenitis is an anatomo-pathologic entity represented by inflammation of the mucosa, revealed by biopsy and fibroscopy. Such manifestations are fairly unfrequent and generally they coincide with morbid affections of the adjacent digestive organs. Autonomous duodenitis is rare and without specific symptoms.
