Summary
Case report of a 21-year-old female patient with diaphragmatic obstruction of the
duodenum with a central opening (iris stenosis). Although, as a rule, clinical and
radiological findings lead to a diagnosis in the very young infant, in our case the
correct diagnosis was not made until years later, and then only with the aid of duodenoscopy.
Zusammenfassung
Fallbericht über eine 21jährige Patientin mit einer angeborenen inkompletten Duodenalatresie
(Iris-Stenose). Im Alter von 6 Wochen Pyloromyotomie wegen eines vermeintlichen Pylorospasmus.
Mit 8 Jahren erneut Laparotomie mit Gastrotomie wegen eines verschluckten Fremdkörpers.
Die Ursache der Passagebehinderung wurde jedoch erst im Erwachsenenalter duodenoskopisch
exakt gestellt.
