Summary
Conditions not suitable for T.U.R. are described; the overly large middle lobe; the filiform urethral stricture; and multiple bladder calculi. One cause of epididymitis is discussed.
Rules to prevent T.U.R. incontinence are discussed. Though one of the tragedies of this operation damage to the external sphincter can be easily avoided. An unusual complication of damage to the glans penis and meatus is discussed.
