Summary

With the aide of new technical possibilities “gynecological pelviscopy” was developed and adapted to the special conditions in the lower abdomen. Nowadays, the instrumentarium consist not only of the newly developed pelviscope, but is complemented by a vacuum-intrauterinesonde, which permits movement of the uterus in all directions. The risk of the blind biopsy, to fill up the pneumoperitoneum, is eliminated by the automatically filling-up of the gas bladder with the CO2-PNEU-AUTOMATIC.

Some newly developed operating instruments facilitate follow-up operations by a second incision under pelviscopic sight: moving of the ovarian tubes and the ovaries, biopsy of the ovaries, coagulation of endometriosis foci, withdrawal of cysts by suction and sterilization of the oviducts by cauterization.
