Summary
Carbondioxide gas is known to have dilating effect on skinvessels. Same effect may occur in peritoneal vessels. A case-report is given showing that vascular changes may mock inflammatory reactions when carbondioxide is applied in peritoneoscopy. In order to prevent false interpretation gall-bladder especially should be inspected early in peritoneoscopy.
