Summary
The peritoneoscopic aspect of Whipple's disease is described. The markedly dilated lymphatic vessels have a characteristic appearance which may lead to the diagnosis of intestinal lymphangiectasis. Final diagnosis has to be established by small bowel or lymph node biopsy.
