Summary

It is reported on own experiences gathered with the endoscopy of the nasopharyngeal space by means of an angular optic according to Hopkins (70°). The nasopharyngeal endoscopy is indicated for an early diagnosis of malignant tumour growth and clears up a clinically uncertain nasopharyngeal picture. In addition to the generally known examination methods, the endoscopy of the nasopharynx enables a direct local finding.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über eigene Erfahrungen mit der Nasenrachen-Endoskopie mittels einer Winkeloptik nach Hopkins (70°) berichtet. Die Nasenrachen-Endoskopie ist indiziert zur Frühdiagnose maligner Geschwülste und klärt einen klinisch unsicheren Nasenrachenbefund. Die Nasenrachen-Endoskopie ermöglicht zusätzlich zu den bekannten Untersuchungsverfahren eine direkte lokale Befunderhebung.
