Summary
A new gastrointestinal phantom is described that is suitable for the basic training in endoscopy of the upper gastrointestinal tract and the cannulation of the papilla of Vater. Its important characteristics are the true-to-life, plastic imitation of the inside of the hollow organs and the excellent smooth-sliding property, so that the use of all flexible oesophagoscopes, gastroscopes and duodenoscopes presently available can be practised. The incorporation of the training on the phantom into the endoscopic training programme as a whole is discussed.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein neues Gastroduodenal-Phantom vorgestellt, das sich für den Basisunterricht in der Endoskopie des oberen Verdauungstrakts und die Kanülierung der Papilla Vateri eignet. Seine wesentlichen Vorzüge sind die naturgetreue plastische Nachbildung des Inneren der Hohlorgane und die ausgezeichnete Gleitfähigkeit, so daß der Einsatz aller zur Verfügung stehenden flexiblen Ösophago-, Gastro- und Duodenoskope geübt werden kann. Die Eingliederung der Ausbildung am Phantom in den gesamten Aufbau des endoskopischen Trainingsprogramms wird diskutiert.
