Hepatitismorbidität nach Herzoperationen

Zusammenfassung

Eine prospektive Studie zur Hepatitisfrequenz nach offenen Herzoperationen zeigt, daß von 20 operierten Patienten 11 an einem hepatitischen Syndrom erkrankten. Die Inkubationszeit dieser Hepatitis schwankte zwischen 29 und 110 Tagen. Es zeichnet sich eine Korrelation zwischen der Anzahl transfundierter Vollblutkonserven, Cohn-I-Fraktionen und Fibrinogenmengen zur Hepatitisrate ab. Die Hepatitisrate beträgt insgesamt etwa 50 %, obwohl nur in der Überwanderungselektrophorese geprüftes Australia-(SH)-Antigen-negatives Blut verwendet wurde.

Summary

A prospective study of the frequency of hepatitis after open heart surgery shows that 11 out of 22 patients developed a hepatitis syndrome. The incubation period varied between 29 and 110 days. There was a correlation between the hepatitis rate, and the number of whole blood transfusions, Cohn I fractions and amounts of fibrinogen. The total hepatitis rate was about 50 % although only Australia-(SH)-antigen negative blood as proved by countercurrent electrophoresis was used.
