Abstract

From the roots of Cassia tora a new anthraquinone pigment (A) with the structure 1,3,5–trihydroxy–6,7–dimethoxy–2 methyl anthraquinone; Leucopelargonidin–3–O–α–L–rhamnopyranoside (B) and β–sitosterol have been isolated.
