Abstract
Commercial whole seed of Trigonella foenumgraecum L., of Ethiopian origin, was stored for 133 days at temperatures of 5°, 28°, 27°, 18–25° and 26–30°. Rhythmic changes occurred in the 25α– and 25β–steroidal sapogenins and in their total. In this experiment the rhythm appeared to be inherent and affected only by low temperature.
