Abstract
A survey is given about chemistry and effect mechanism of colchicine and its derivatives, which have antimitotic efficiency and are used against tumor. It is assumed that the effect of colchicine is conditioned by special molecular structure. Also the different effect of the variable derivatives depends on the distribution between medium and cell.
