Zusammenfassung
Das Reservepolysaccharid (Glucomannan) in den im Vorjahr gebildeten Knollen von Tuber Salep (Orchis morio, O. mascula, Piatanthera bifolia) wird zu Beginn der Vegetationsperiode unter Bildung von Mannotriose, Mannobiose und Mannose abgebaut. Letztere wird offensichtlich rasch in Saccharose umgewandelt die dann z. T. direkt aus dem Mutter– in die Tochterknollen transportiert wird, wo sie zur Neubildung von Schleimpolysaccharid dient. In der Fraktion der Zuckernukleotide aus den Mutterknollen konnte UDPG und UDPGa nachgewiesen werden, in den Tochterknollen UDPG, UDPGa, GDPMa und ADPG.
Abstract
The glucomannan of the tubers of orchids yielding the crude drug Tuber Salep (Orchis mono, O. mascula, Platanthera bifolia) is mobilized in early spring by degradation to mannotriose, mannobiose and mannose. Mannose is quickly transformed in sucrose which is transported to the young tubers; there sucrose is used for synthesis of new glucomannan. The fraction of sugar nucleotides of the old tubers contains UDPG and UDPGa whilst in new tubers UDPG, UDPGa, GDPMa and ADPG were found to be peresent.
