Abstract
Complete fatty acid composition of seed fats of Rhus succedanea, R. punjabensis, Pinus gerardiana, Physochlaina praealta and Abroma augusta is described. All these, except Rhus punjabensis, contain over 50 % of linoleic acid. Pinus gerardiana seeds, an edible nut, which is commercially available, can be recommended in the diet of arteriosclerotic patients.
