Zusammenfassung

Die Einführung von 2–14C–Mevalonsäure in Anethum graveolens L. in vivo wird beschrieben. Aus dem ätherischen öl wurden 14C–Limonen und 14C–Carvon gaschromatographisch präparativ abgetrennt. Nach selektiver Hydrierung des 14C–Carvons und anschließendem oxydativen Abbau des Carvotanacetons wird anhand der erhaltenen Abbauprodukte und ihrer spezif. Aktivitäten die biogenetische Bildungsweise von Limonen und Carvon diskutiert.

Summary

The biogenesis of limonene and carvone was studied by feeding Anethum graveolens with 2–14C–mevalonic acid. Limonene and carvone were isolated by preparative gaschromatography. Carvone was reduced to carvotanacetone and consequently degraded oxidatively. The distribution of label in the degradation products is interpreted.
