Abstract

In callus tissue cultures from leaves of Duboisia myoporoides R. Br. at least five alkaloids could be detected, which corresponded in TLC with those to be found in extracts from leaves and roots of the plant. The main alkaloids were identified as scopolamine, valtropine and atropine.
