Zusammenfassung

Bei einem 63 Jahre alt gewordenen Patienten bestand eine exzessive Lymphknotenamyloidose. Dreizehn Jahre vor dem Tod hatte sich eine langsam progrediente Polyneuropathie entwickelt. Außerdem war eine mäßig starke monoklonale IgM-Vermehrung ohne morphologische Zeichen einer Waldenströmschen Erkrankung vorhanden. Diese Trias von exzessiver Lymphknotenamyloidose, Polyneuropathie und IgM-Vermehrung wurde bisher nicht beschrieben.

Summary

A severe lymph node amyloidosis was found in a patient who was 63 years old at the time of death. 13 years prior to death a slowly progressive polyneuropathy had developed. In addition a moderately pronounced increase of IgM with no morphological signs of Waldenström's disease was observed. This triad of severe lymph node amyloidosis, polyneuropathy and increase of IgM has not previously been reported.
