Reinfusionsbehandlung bei therapieresistentem Aszites

Zusammenfassung

Eine neue apparative Methode zur Aszitesbehandlung gestattet eine kontinuierliche Eiweiß-Konzentrierung und -Reinfusion. Damit wird es möglich, innerhalb eines Tages größere Aszitesmengen zu entfernen, ohne dabei die mit der einfachen Punktion oder Drainage verbundenen Nachteile in Kauf nehmen zu müssen. Die Hauptindikation zur Reinfusionsbehandlung stellt unseres Erachtens der therapieresistente massive Aszites dar; hypoproteinämische Ödeme, hypovolämische Zustände sowie rasche Aszitesentfernung vor notwendigen Abdominaloperationen können weitere Indikationen sein.

Summary

Treatment of ascites with continuous protein concentration and reinfusion is made possible with a new apparatus. It enables removal of larger amounts of ascites fluid within one day without the disadvantages associated with simple puncture or drainage. The main indication for a reinfusion treatment is considered to be therapy-resistant massive ascites. Hypoproteinemic edema, hypovolemic states and rapid ascites removal prior to abdominal surgery may be further indications.
