Zusammenfassung

Nach intravenöser Injektion von Antihumanlymphozytenglobulin vom Pferd kommt es meist zu einer Lymphopenie im peripheren Blut. Bei sieben Patienten mit Histologisch gesicherter chronischer lymphatischer Leukämie wurde versucht, die Ursache dieser Lymphopenie zu ermitteln. Hierzu wurde das Verhalten der peripheren Gesamtlymphozyten und einer ⁵¹Cr-markierten und somit festgelegten Lymphozytenpopulation verglichen. Wie die Ergebnisse zeigen, scheint die Lymphopenie im peripheren Blut auf einer Zerstörung eines Teiles der Lymphozyten und wahrscheinlich zusätzlich auf einer Hemmung der Produktion zu beruhen. Eine weitere klinische Erprobung zur Behandlung der chronischen Lymphadenose erscheint somit sinnvoll.

Summary

After intravenous injection of antihuman lymphocytic globulin from horses lymphopenia usually develops in the peripheral blood. In seven patients with histologically confirmed chronic lymphatic leukaemia the attempt was made to discover the cause of this lymphopenia by comparing the behaviour of peripheral lymphocytes and that of ⁵¹Cr-labelled lymphocytes were compared. The results suggest that lymphopenia in peripheral blood is caused by the destruction of some of the lymphocytes and probably also by the inhibition of lymphocytes production.

Acerca del orígen de la linfopenia consecutiva a la administración de suero linfocitario antihumano en las leucemias linfáticas crónicas

Tras la inyección intravenosa de globulina linfocitaria antihumana del caballo, sobreviene casi siempre una linfopenia en la sangre periférica. En siete pacientes con leucemia linfática crónica, histológicamente asegurada, se intentó averiguar las causas de dicha linfopenia. Con este fin se comparó la conducta de los linfocitos periféricos, en su totalidad, con una aglomeración de linfocitos marcados y así fijados con Cr⁵¹. Según estos resultados la linfopenia en la sangre periférica parece estar causada por la destrucción de una parte de los linfocitos y además probablemente por una inhibición de la producción. Por lo tanto, parece ser valioso continuar las pruebas clínicas acerca del tratamiento de la linfadenosis crónica.
