Summary
Urine examinations for the presence of glucose and albumin were carried out in 7,976 of the 10,036 inhabitants (85.2%) of the town of Herrenberg. The incidence of glycosuria and albuminuria was 1.3% and 0.3% respectively. The number of newly diagnosed cases of diabetes and kidney disease was 44 and 13 respectively.
