Cutaneous Symptoms in Patients with Rheumatoid ArthritisPublication History
Publication Date:

Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis is the most common systemic rheumatic disease frequently leading to extraarticular symptoms. With long duration of the chronic inflammatory systemic disease skin lesions may develop. The spectrum of skin symptoms ranges from specific cutaneous manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis to therapy-dependent dermatologic conditions. Optimal interdisciplinary clinical care for patient with rheumatoid arthritis may therefore be only achieved by detailed knowledge of cutaneous manifestations.
