Summary
The proving of Betula alba shows that it is possible, by careful and structured analysis, to find out the identity of a proved substance. Being aware of the sensations and using the systematic approach to homeopathy as proposed by the Bombay school seems to be a helpful and functional tool not only in taking a case but also in proving remedies.
