Zusammenfassung
Seit der Exposition der sechs Patienten verstrichen in keinem Fall mehr als 5 Jahre. Die aseptische Nekrose der Caissonarbeiter ist ein typisches Beispiel für das initiale Stadium der von Axhausen beschriebenen Arthrosis deformans osseale. Aus diesem Grunde wird die Vermeidung der aktiven Therapie, die Entlastung und die Schonung der Extremitäten schon in dem Stadium empfohlen, in dem die Zeichen der kortikalen Kompression noch nicht nachweisbar sind.
Es wird der Berücksichtigung der prädisponierenden Dysplasien und sonstigen Entwicklungsanomalien in der Untersuchung der Caissonarbeiter eine besondere Bedeutung beigelegt.
Summary
In no case had more than 5 years elapsed since the exposure of the six patients. The aseptic necrosis of the caisson-workers is a typical example of the initial stage of the osseous osteo-arthritis (Arthrosis deformans osseale), as described by Axhausen. It is therefore recommended that active therapy, weight bearing, and activity of the extremities be avoided at the stage when signs of cortical compression are not yet evident.
Predisposing dysplasias and other developmental anomalies should be especially considered in the examination of caisson-workers.
Résumé
Aucun des six malades ne fut exposé plus de cinq ans. La nécrose aseptique des ouvriers travaillant dans les caissons constitue un exemple typique du stade initial de l'ostéoarthrose déformante deAxhausen. C'est pour cette raison qu'il faut recommander à ce stade déjà l'abandon d'une thérapeutique active, la suppression des efforts et le ménagement des extrémités, car les signes de compression de la corticale de l'os ne sont pas encore visibles.
L'examen des ouvriers travaillant dans les caissons doit tenir largement compte des dysplasies prédisposantes et d'autres anomalies du développement.
Resumen
Desde la exposición de los seis pacientes, en ninguno de los casos transcurrieron más de 5 años. La necrosis aséptica de estos trabajadores es un ejemplo típico del estadio inicial de la artrosis deformante ósea descrita por Axhausen. Por esta razón se recomiendan evitar todo tratamiento activo, la descarga y la protección de las extremidades ya en el estadio en el cual aún no se comprueban signos de compresión cortical.
El examen de estos trabajadores tendrá muy especialmente en cuenta la existencia de displasias predisponentes y otras anomalías de desarrollo.
