Akademische plastische Chirurgie: Ein Vergleich zwischen der Weiterbildung in Deutschland und den USA

Zusammenfassung

Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die derzeitigen postgraduierten Weiterbildungssysteme im Fach plastische Chirurgie in Deutschland und den USA bezüglich Struktur, Ausbildungsmethoden, Arbeitszeit, Gehalt, Facharztprüfung und Forschungsmöglichkeiten verglichen.

Abstract

In this review article, the current postgraduate training programs in plastic surgery in Germany and the USA are compared with regard to structure, methods, duty hours, income, board examination and research opportunities.
