Zusammenfassung
Die Versorgung angeborener Bauchwanddefekte ist ein Qualitätskriterium für eine kinderchirurgische Einrichtung. Die Auswertungen der postoperativen Ergebnisse in den frühen Jahren waren immer wieder Anlass für die Entwicklung neuer Abläufe, Operationsverfahren oder eingesetzter Materialien. In den letzten Jahren wurde eine Zunahme des Auftretens von Gastroschisisfällen und eine vorzeitige Entbindung durch Sektio diskutiert. Anhand der ersten eigenen Ergebnisse (2006–2009) und Aufstellungen in der Literatur sollen diese beiden Punkte dargestellt werden.
Abstract
The management of congenital abdominal wall defects is one of the main characteristics of quality for a department of paediatric surgery. The results of treatment in the early years were the reason for a continuous improvement of procedures, operation strategies and the kinds of material that had been used. During the last years there has been a great discussion about the presumed increase in the incidence of gastroschisis and the preterm delivery of such cases. On the basis of our own first results (2006–2009) and details from the literature, we survey these two topics.
