Die selektive Angiographie der A. phrenica ascendens

Zusammenfassung

Der vorliegende Bericht enthält die Ergebnisse selektiver Angiographien der A. phrenica ascendens beider Seiten von 20 Patienten. Unter Einschluß nur partiell versorgender, aber gut dargestellter aszendierender Zwerchfelläste, die links offenbar häufiger sind als rechts, erscheint diese Angiographie bei 70 bis 80% (ohne statistische Signifikanz) der Patienten durchführbar. Nennenswerte Akzessoria werden öfter durch die Angiographie der A. suprarenalis media sichtbar. Auf die ausgedehnten Möglichkeiten wird hingewiesen, pathologische Prozesse am mitversorgten Gefäßsystem zur Darstellung zu bringen.

Summary

The present report deals with the results of selective angiography of the ascending phrenic arteries on both sides in twenty patients. If angiograms showing only partial, but adequate, opacification of the diaphragmatic vessels are included (this being more common on the left than the right) the method was successful in seventy to eighty per cent of patients (statistically no significant). Significant accessory branches were frequently demonstrated by angiography of the medial suprarenal artery. The scope for demonstrating pathological processes in the territories supplied by these vessels is thereby shown.

Résumé

Ce travail expose les résultats d'angiographies sélectives de l'artère phrénique ascendante des deux côtés chez une vingtaine de malades. Cette angiographie peut être effectuée chez le 70 à 80% des malades, en tenant compte de l'illustration précise des rameaux ascendants diaphragmatiques, qui n'en dépendent pas toujours, ceux de gauche sont relativement plus fréquents que ceux de droite. Des artères accessoires importantes sont souvent mises en évidence par l'angiographie de l'artère capsulaire moyenne. L'auteur relève les possibilités étendues offertes par les angiographies pour préciser des affections pathologiques.

Resumen

El presente comunicado contiene el resultado de las angiografías selectivas de la arteria diafragmática ascendente a ambos lados en 20 pacientes. Incluyendo las ramas diafragmáticas ascendentes sólo parcialmente abastecidas pero bien representadas, que se encuentran tanto a la izquierda como a la derecha, la angiografía resulta realizable en el 70 hasta el 80% (sin significado estadístico) de los pacientes. Notables valores suplementarios resultan con cierta frecuencia visibles por medio de la angiografía de la arteria suprarrenal media. Se alude sobre las extensas posibilidades de poder presentar procesos patológicos en el aparato vascular coabastecido.
