Retikuloblastomatosen des Magens
Reticulo-blastomatosis of the stomachPublication History
Publication Date:
03 August 2009 (online)
Summary
Eighteen reticulo-blastomas of the stomach and gut were found amongst 318 malignant systemic lymphoreticuloses. In 12 cases, the reticulo-blastoma was confined to the stomach. In view of the good prognosis of reticulo-blastomas of the stomach, the problem of the so-called pseudo-lymphoma of the stomach is discussed. No specific radiological criteria for the pre-operative diagnosis of reticulo-blastomas of the stomach are known. Occasionally, however, a presumptive diagnosis may be made in the presence of a diffusely infiltrating sarcomatous lesion, without narrowing of the lumen of the stomach or in the absence of stenosis of the pylorus or the cardia.
