Befunde im postoperativen Karotisangiogramm

Zusammenfassung

Die Auswertung von kurzfristig nach intrakraniellen Eingriffen gewonnenen Karotisangiogrammen ergab, daß die Rückverlagerungen von Gefäßdeviationen häufig nur sehr unvollkommen vonstatten geht, ferner, daß postoperative Gefäßausfälle zu beobachten sind, welche zum Teil über das Operationsgebiet hinausgehen, schließlich, daß präoperativ vorhandene pathologische Gefäßnetze zumeist postoperativ nicht mehr nachweisbar werden und endlich, daß es postoperativ zur Ausbildung sichelförmiger parietaler subduraler gefäßfreier Räume kommen kann, deren klinische Bedeutung zur Diskussion steht.

Summary

Analysis of carotid arteriograms carried out shortly after intra-cranial surgery showed that return to normal of displaced vessels is frequently very incomplete; postoperatively, vascular occlusions may be observed beyond the territory of the operation; pathological vessels, which can be seen pre-operatively, can usually no longer be demonstrated after operation; finally, there may be sickle-shaped parietal sub-dural avascular spaces after operation. Their clinical significance is discussed.
